1. You must enter the appropriate section of the MojiKan to download the Moji IM depending on your age group. Users under 13 years of age MUST enter our under-13 site. Users above 13 years of age can enter our adult site. Users above the age of 13 and not yet 18 years of age must seek your parents or guardian’s approval before using the site or the program;
2. The Moji IM is a 3D instant messaging program that has all the functions of a regular IM with 2 major differences: a real-time 3D engine and an Artificial Intelligence component. Exploring these two functions will yield the best results;
3. The Moji IM is inter-operable with MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, Jabber, GTalk and SonBuddy. This means that you will be able to use the Moji IM to chat with any of your friends on these other networks and IMs;
4. Pets and characters created will respond to your everyday natural language. At the moment, we only support chat in English;
5. The A.I. features in the program and throughout the MojiKan site serves to understand your personality through virtual chat agents. It is imperative that prior to downloading the IM client, you go through the necessary steps in order for your virtual pets and creations to know you a lot better;
6. The MojiKan and the Moji IM works within a virtual economy. The primary and only currency that is required in the MojiKan and Moji IM is MojiKan Dollars (MK$). You must purchase MK$ in order to buy and sell anything in the MojiKan and Moji IM.
7. The value of MK$ fluctuates according to user activity and supply/demand of items, accessories and environments. This means that at certain times, MK$ may cost less than other times, and vice versa. The MK$ is governed by the MojiKan Stock Exchange (MKSX) that also allows users to trade and sell their creations and items to other users;
8. Aside from buying items and accessories to personalize and pets and your experience in the MojiKan, your pets need energy to survive. We call this “energy source”, Sparx (SPX). Your pets will expend SPX in their daily activities and in their daily lives. The rate of this expenditure varies depending on how well your pets have been trained. You must ensure that your pets have enough SPX to survive in the Moji IM or else it will grow weaker and weaker and eventually die. You can purchase SPX with MojiKan Dollars (MK$);
9. Your pets learn from your behaviour and chat dialogues. Try and be mindful of what you say to it and your buddies, unless you want to turn your pet into a nasty one!!
